Black males comprise less than 2% of teachers in our nation’s schools. This is an abysmal fact when you consider Black men are 6% of the U S population, yet, 45% of the US prison population. There is no creditable research to prove Black males are predisposed to violence or non-deserving of the respect and admiration afforded other minority groups.Reflections of the Words You Use
Who you are, the people you associate with, and your education level are reflected in the words you use. Those people with a lower education level tend to have limited vocabularies, and those with higher education use more words and use them more proficiently. Your vocabulary also depends on the people you associate with. It behooves you to expand your vocabulary at every opportunity.
